The Culture of Design

As part of “The Culture of Design” exhibition by Cartier at Gazelli Art House Baku, multidisciplinary artist Elnara Nasirli was invited to participate in a collaborative project featuring key voices from Azerbaijan’s creative community.

Through the prism of her distinctive artistic vision, Nasirli reimagined the timeless elegance of Cartier’s most iconic collections — transforming them into vessels of memory, identity, and contemporary interpretation. Her approach reflects a deeply personal resonance with the Maison’s design codes, establishing an emotional dialogue with form, material, and cultural legacy.

Rather than simply engaging with an object, Elnara created a conceptual bridge between the artistic and the symbolic, positioning Cartier not only as a house of luxury, but as a carrier of intimate narratives and enduring artistry.
