Sanctum of Sound Festival, MaHalla Berlin

As part of the Sanctum of Sound Festival at MaHalla Berlin, Elnara Nasirli presented Synth-ESYS (SE-01) Ecological Synthesis System: Berlin Node, a site-specific installation developed in collaboration with MXNZM.

Conceived as an ecological synthesis system, the work explores the relationship between organic matter and technological structures, bringing wood and custom electronics into a responsive spatial environment. Rather than positioning nature and technology as opposing forces, Synth-ESYS considers the possibility of their coexistence within a shared, evolving system.

Created specifically for MaHalla’s industrial architecture, the Berlin Node extends Nasirli’s ongoing investigation into environmental technologies, interconnected living systems, and the shifting boundaries between the organic and the synthetic.

Presented within the multidisciplinary context of Sanctum of Sound, the installation entered into dialogue with sound, space, and the surrounding environment, becoming part of a larger field of sensory and ecological experience.
